Last fall I had a series of missed airline connections that resulted in my having to sleep in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. I just needed to chill out for a few hours, nowhere near long enough to go to a hotel, no matter how close, and then catch a 6 am flight to Washington DC.
I found myself wandering around the airport in the very wee hours of the night/morning. Airports can be a very eerie place in those wee hours! I mean, when else are you going to find no people around the people mover in this busy airport?
